Is there any snow sticking upcountry in MD?

Just want to be prepared if there will be a possible delay. Seems like the forecast has mostly changed to be just wet.

Thanks!

Just wet in Gaithersburg.

Too warm.

Not likely to delay.

That's the right kind of question to ask. If you ask "do you think MCPS will delay tomorrow" lots of people will come and criticize

It's been a wintry mix in Clarksburg with not much sticking on surfaces. We're supposed to get a few inches of snow before 9pm, though. I guess we'll see if the temperature drops enough.

We're in Clarksburg and it's been icy rain here. Sidewalks are slippery.

Just drove from Gaithersburg to Damascus (3:30p) and back (5:30p). Switched from snow (~1 inch) to ice pellets to freezing rain in those two hours. Roads are super wet- any treatment left has been washed away. Sidewalks were getting icy. My trees out front are looking icy already. I'm thinking delay. It's cheap insurance to give building services time to treat sidewalks and the sun to be up and start melting.

Just drove my kid to swimming in Olney - roads are just wet.

Also precipitation is predicted to end by 3ish, so really shouldn't be a delay situation

No delay, it's just wet.

We really need to split the county so that 80% of students aren't impacted by the few hundred in Clarksburg.

Have you actually seen a map of Montgomery County with population numbers? Or do you talk out of your a** just for fun?

Another Bingo square filled.

Also, Clarksburg HS alone has over 2,000 students.

Lmfao. I live in Cburg. But, I will not tell you if it is icy or not. I want you to wake up at 5am waiting for MCPS's decision.
