| Letters are out. |
| Wishing everyone good news! |
| What are the numbers??!?! If I recall they stated the cutoff (and maybe the range)? |
I didn't see anything listing a cutoff. |
| No score or range included in the letter. |
|
So just a "yes" or a "no"?
With our older child the letter said your score = x lowest admitted score = y |
| Yes, they have changed the letter from previous years. Now it doesn't include your child's score or the range. |
How is that transparent? |
| Wait a minute! My kid's letter came today and includes her score. it doesn't say what the cut off score, just that the maximum score is 2880 and then says my kid's score. |
Wrong. Has "your score" which many probably could have calculated anyway. But does not have any other info, which is disappointing. So...who had what... and yea or nay? My kids score was high (well over 2600) but I bet some parents want to know what the minimum admitted was. |
| Who else has received two letters? One that says eligible; one that says not eligible. This is crazy. |
Yes. Insane. |
Did you receive a second letter that said your kid didn't get in? |
What? You are only supposed to get a letter if you are eligible, I thought. There shouldn't even be "ineligible" letters going out. If this is true, such incompetence. They've had 2 months to do some simple data entry. The PSAT was administered first week of December and all applications were due December 14th. All that was needed was to take student GPA from School Max in 4 core subjects, and enter those grades into a formula. This could have been done by hand by 2 people in a day for Pete's sake. |
My child didn't receive a letter today, but has a score of 2510. All her friends have heard yes or waitlisted, but I don't know what scores they had. She thinks the waitlisted one had a score of around 2300 though. |
