McLean 2008 Boys Green Coach

So to start the year in the Fall, the 2008 Boys Green team coach was Ahmad Manning. If I'm not mistaken, he moved here from Florida to coach at McLean. He was supposed to be a great coach. With tryouts on my mind, I recently looked at McLean's website and noticed that he isn't the head coach of that team anymore or listed as a coach for McLean any longer. I asked a parent that I know about it and all he said was that he was let go back in September. He wasn't even here half a season. Anyone know why he was let go or what happened.

MYS coaching turnover is ridiculous. We have been on the girls side for 10 years and you wouldn't believe how many coaches have come and gone or been forced out. Lots of infighting sadly. Little accountability. Lot of grudges. Hate it.

Joking some of the most abrasive, hysterical coaches I’ve seen were from McLean coaching young girls.

Stop fishing for information.

The fact that a club got rid of a new coach of two top teams less than 1 month into a season should tell you all you need to know. You don’t need to go on a fishing expedition for the details especially after naming the coach. Seems you ‘know a parent.’ Ask him for the details privately about what led to the dismissal if you need them. Club 100% made the right call...

Why not ask? I'm curious too. The fact that the club go rid of him 1 month into a season doesn't tell me anything about what happened.

Unless he is now at your club why would you care? So what does it matter why?
