Going a bit stir crazy already. We were home all last weekend due to sickness. Just want to get out of the house.
Anywhere we can drive to from our garage to garage? Just eating ok. Playing even better. Will take what I can get. I have 3 young kids. |
not sure where you are, but how about the mall? For example, Montgomery Mall has a garage and you can go in and either get food there, walk around the mall and burn energy, play on indoor play area. |

It's not THAT cold out. Especially with the sun shining so bright. The shade/wind is very cold, but for just going from car to place, it would not be bad. |

We live by tysons. That is the only place we have been to in the past week. Was coming up blank when I posted this. |

Ikea does not have an indoor garage. |
It’s seriously cold but not cold enough that I need to go garage to garage. That’s extreme. Do you live in DC or Minnesota? |
Ikea in College Park has an indoor garage. |
For real. |
You're not in Wisconsin. You'll be fine, OP. |
It’s seriously not that cold. Some crisp air is good for everyone. |
WTF people, why can't someone ask a damn question without getting attacked? People have different tolerances for cold. It is cold today. It is 20 degrees colder than the average temperature in DC. I grew up in Chicago and I hate cold, which is a main reason I don't live there anymore. There's nothing wrong with someone with 3 little kids (or anyone) wanting to find options that don't involve walking outside.
OP-- I agree with the idea of a mall or Ikea. I know some malls now have little jump houses inside the mall. The Wheaton Mall has one, and they have little animal things you can ride around on. I took my kids there to just play around for a while on a cold day last year. |
