High Turnover at Little Beginnings

What is happening there?! It seems like every week there is a new teacher or an interview is taking place.

We love our child's teacher but we are nervous she might leave as well.

Everyone is leaving for the new Little Ambassadors and a couple other places. The trouble really began more than a year ago when the director summarily fired two beloved teachers after an altercation (that happened away from the children). The board backed the director and another parent group challenged them. Nothing has been the same since.

Well now the assistant infant teacher will be leaving! And I noticed 2 new teachers that have started.

Can anyone offer more detail on the changes at Little Beginnings? Is there a sense that many parents are considering leaving?

I wish the lead Pre-K teacher would leave. Would much rather have the male teacher back, but he said that he couldn't work with the lead and wasn't getting any support from the Director. The Lead Pre-K teacher is new this year, doesn't believe in Conscious Discipline, and is just plain mean to some of the kids. Good luck to all you Pandas that will be in that class next year!

Honestly, good luck to them. I know LAA has a good reputation, but I would not start my child at a new school with all new staff at a location that is not metro accessible. The turnover at a new place is going to be significant.
