Family kicked off airplane due to 'bad odor'

Anonymous

I'm curious to know how these individuals were identified as the bad odor culprits in a plane with dozens of other passengers. What kind of criteria does the flight crew use to make this sort of determination? This is wild

If you don’t know for sure, maybe you shouldn’t assume?

Perhaps enough people discreetly made flight crew aware of the odor that prompted the crew to act while they still could, on the ground. Perhaps the gate agent got a few complaints and informed the flight crew. Perhaps the passengers from a previous flight complained upon arrival, and the crew of the current flight were made aware and assessed.

Huh, that’s really weird. I hope the smelly people were still on board stinking it up.

Smells like anti-semitism. Probably a MAGA freak made the complaint.

Is there a general stereotype of Jews being smelly of which I'm unaware?

That’s easy to say when you aren’t seated next to someone who stinks for hours. You wouldn’t complain?

Yes, an old stereotype is that Jews are dirty and smelly.

Not a Jew, but grew up in a large Jewish community. Jewish people are notorious for being some of the cleanest people out there.

But if you stink, you stink.

I doubt that any of the passengers complaining about them even knew that they were Jewish. They just didn't want to be stuck on a long plane ride with a horrible odor like that and they sure as heck didn't want to be seated next to them.

Every time an article like this is written, I support the stench purge

Be clean before you get on a plane people

This is an awful story and I don’t know what to think. I hope the family has a peaceful Shabbat. I am not yet chalking this incident up to antisemitism (how dare the pp bring politics into this) but perhaps something happened with the baby having an accident and the parents couldn’t smell it? Very sad whatever happened here.

Maybe they didn't shower or put on clean clothes. Not everyone bathes every day....even though they really should.

+1. Zero sympathy for the stinky people

If they had been Baptist would this have ever made the news?

If you get kicked off the airplane for smelling, then a guy like this certainly should be banned from flying. This guy is disgusting.
