CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE: TRUMP OWES $421M
WATCHDOG CLAIMS CAMPAIGN 'LAUNDERING' MONEY
PARSCALE THREATENS SUICIDE

Prediction: It will come out that Trump, via Parscale, has been stealing from his own campaign and pocketing contributions and other funds. Trump is a thief.

If NYT is lying, why doesn't DJT just prove them wrong?

Lots of “something illegal” detailed in the article. You should read it.

The NYT doesn't have a good record. I guess Trump doesn't have to release his taxes since the NYT has them, lol!

Even Rachel M. showed his 2005 tax return which didn't back up any allegations. To her credit she actually showed the viewers the product.

Lying, deflecting, denying and casting doubt on the New York Times is running the autocrat’s playbook using Roy Cohn’s tactics of undermining the credibility of the media outlets to serve your purpose. Congrats on falling for the oldest Mob tactic on the books.

For whatever record the NYT may have, Trump has told over 25,000 documented lies, and for some reason, people like you believe him still.

x10000000

They just don’t care. They got their conservative judges, they either benefit directly from tax cuts for the rich or think it will trickle down to them eventually.

Literally Trump could be caught on camera shooting someone and they wouldn’t care. He was right about that. Such a strange cult.

Trump is on twitter saying it’s fake news and that the returns were illegally obtained. Can’t be both.

It can if you are Trump. He is good at double think.

The Times article mentions Ivanka’s consulting fees from that deal.

Illegal but Trump will pardon her before leaving. Im sure he’ll pardon the whole family and try to pardon himself too.

As a CPA I can professionally tell everyone here that >99% of DCUMers have absolutely no idea how business or high wealth taxes work, yet will jump to whatever conclusions they see fit.

Look at amazon as an example. Every letter to shareholders they advocate for “maximizing the present value of future cash flows” (if you don’t know what that means you have no hope of understanding Trump's tax returns).

Ultimately it is a strategy to reinvest cash flows into future earning potential to avoid paying income taxes. Amazon as a company had negative net income but was still worth hundreds of billions of dollars due to generating massive future free cash flow.

At some level, if you have positive net income as a business, you don’t know what to do with your money and are happy to waste some on tax. That sums up trumps tax returns - he doesn’t want to waste any money paying taxes.

Reading New York Times attempt to analyze trumps tax returns is like reading a toddler try to interpret Benjamin Graham. NYT's hack job is pure cringe worthy. They aren’t even consistent on how they talk about depreciation and never even mention what free cash flow even is.

To all the democrats out there - this ain’t it chief. Of course this will never get brought to light with a free and fair counter argument published in the NYT, because discussing gritty aspects of the US tax code is a snooze fest. Gotta sell the hyperbole and outrageous headlines.

Maybe we dont understand it but we can understand that it isnt fair/ethical (again something can be unethical and legal) and thats enough to change some people's minds. All the tax laws and loopholes, has anyone ever compared the increase in these loopholes and the increase in income equality? Meanwhile the IRS has been decimating loopholes for individuals. As a server, you cant deduct clothing that isnt a uniform even though you cant possibly wear that clothing anywhere other than work (due to smell). I mean the dude wrote off haircuts.

No, it's calling out the media as they are. When various news organizations only support one candidate, and make it obvious it's biased and unreliable.

CNN, Fox, MSNBC and much of the main stream is guilty of this. It's called acute observation.

I wonder why you think Trump deserves only the most gentle coddling. Why are you such a coward on behalf of a loser who commits so many crimes?

I just have to say that this makes me SO wistful for Elizabeth Warren.

The guy has $00 million in rapidly maturing loans and another billion or so in mortgages on his various properties, many of which are coming due in the next two years. He's up to his neck in debt. That makes him an extreme national security risk.

He's not a businessman, he a clown living on credit. Were it not for inherited wealth, he'd be selling timeshares in Myrtle Beach. But oh no, you guys wanted a "businessman" to run the government.

State crimes. NY has tax laws, too. As does NJ, VA, etc.

It’s actually more than 1 billion. See the Forbes reporting upthread.
