So it's true - neither of these kids should never had been at Wootton this year! Someone stirred the pot by COSA'ing one in and blocking one out!!!!! That's the real story that the press needs to dig into!!!

The response to the shooting, however, has definitely brought out the racism within the community, with people insisting the shooter and victim had to be imports and couldn’t possibly have been part of the Wootton cluster.

This shooting incident had NOTHING to do with racism, at all or anyone involved - from the principal, to the counselor, to the shooter, to the kid shot.

The same troll on multiple threads continues to throw the racial grenade at Wootton. You won’t convince him/her/they/them/it of anything. The goal is to stir up $hit and piss you off.

It's because something similar happened to, I believe, Churchill a while back. The "victim" was actually the person who did it.

Something did happen at Wootton last year and I recall the fuss being made, but not who did it. Was it a teacher? A student? What race were they? It's easy to smear without proof and this has been a consistent pattern in the case of Wootton. Why did Michele Jawando, who doesn't have kids there or is a public official, give a news interview about issues at Wootton? How would she possibly know since she's not a parent there?

In the shooting case, the shooter claimed in court he wasn't the initial aggressor. I read similar things as well. That the kid shot was seeing a mental healthcare provider, that he may have been wearing an ankle monitor, that he and another kid 'jumped' the shooter earlier in the day. If any of this turns out to be true, then it's clear to me that someone kept him in school versus transferring him or expelling him last year.

Even on this thread, folks want to play the race card, yet when they're called out on the facts they cry about it? No, I think the issues at Wootton aren't internally generated, someone is stirring the pot.
