Do you have one child in private and one in public?

We are considering putting child #2 in public school, mostly for financial reasons.
Husband thinks that once we experience public school, we will remove child #1 from private school, since there will be no big difference, so he is excited.
It is likely that that will happen.
Has anyone else made the switch. I feel like we will be using DC 2 as the tester, but that is what it come down to.
