Has anyone gotten results from TAG testing yet?

Just curious...

It's too early. They usually only come in March/April. If you think your kid may be TAG and you are interested in a TAG center you should apply for the lottery.

Good grief. That’s a really long time.

Can you apply for the lottery before getting the TAG results??

Yes. That is one of the main reasons the TAG lottery waitlist moves faster than others. Many people apply but not all are eligible in the end.
I know that a few years ago the lottery ended before parents at our school got the TAG designation letters.

FYI- nearly everyone who applies for TAG centers in 2nd and 3rd grades get in by the end of summer. Last year they reopened the lottery and opened up enrollment to students out of bounds.

The TAG office website says that Feb 7th is "Deadline for TAG Coordinators to submit all TAG screening paperwork to TAG Office"

So that is when your neighborhood school has to tell the head office. Whether or not they get that information to you earlier or later than that date depends on the individual.

This is my first year trying for the TAG lottery- shouldn't parents receive this kind of pertinent information???

Oh, PG, stay terrible.
