Infrared Sauna

Has anyone tried an infrared sauna? I see ppl talking about them/using them on Instagram and it seems too good be true. But, people were skeptical of the cyro-freezing thing after working out and that seems to work.

We have an infrared sauna. It’s awesome. Ours heats to 160 which is plenty hot enough for me. My DH would like it to be hotter. We use it every single day.

Reviving an old thread - has anyone tried or own an Infrared Sauna Blanket? I'm thinking of asking for this for Xmas, from DH.

I have the Higher Dose sauna blanket. I call it my hot pocket I love it! I tend to only use it in the winter but that’s fine with me. I like that I get sweaty while using it but that my head is outside the blanket so I don’t have to wash my hair every time I use it. I bought it 2 years ago and I think it was about $600: worth it.

This is the PP who revived this old thread. If I may ask, what were your reasons for getting the blanket - was it specific health related issues?

I got mine because I struggle with hypothyroid. Even with medication I don’t sweat much and it’s worse in the winter. The blanket helps me swear whicv is important in terms of releasing toxins etc
