Erm so how come we haven’t discussed these gorgeous stunning girls these caps guys are married to?
Wow these girls win at life. Young beautiful and richer than we’ll ever be! |
| That first picture you posted looks like a father and daughter (and i don't mean the baby in his hands). |
| I've met the Oshies, and Lauren Oshie is not only the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen in real life, but she is gracious and lovely. |
| Well they also are kind of powerless and replaceable but yeah |
| This post reeks of being posted by a dude. Anyone else get that? |
| Do we have to treat women like objects? Is their only worth based on their looks? |
| The "win at life" because....why? |
This is good! |
Because it’s posted by a dude, who doesn’t understand women. Not what we want. Not how we think. |
| I am also a dude but I am pretty sure women would rather be married to a pro athlete than a nobody. Am I wrong? |
Not necessarily. There are certainly upsides, but then you're married to someone who's traveling much of the time while they're in season, only the top names really make big money in most sports, and even if their careers are lucrative, they typically have a short duration and many don't fare well financially after retirement. |
| Oshie's wife is stunning! |
And they're probably fending off hordes of groupies all the time. |
Not me. There are ways to make a lot of money that don't result in TBI. I'm good. |
| It is a tough life-style to raise a family on. Everything, and I mean everything, is pegged to Daddy's job, how he is playing, how the team is doing, how he is getting treated, the ins and outs of his contract, how his body is holding up, etc. Vacations are scheduled around it, baby's births (some of them) have been scheduled around it, everything. Plus, as someone else pointed out, everywhere you turn there is some woman making a play for your family guy, who is on the road a lot, hanging around with a bunch of single guys who are living the bar life. These women may look soft and pretty on the outside but they have to be tough to deal with all the challenges of the world they're in. It takes a strong woman to keep her marriage happy and healthy, and to raise semi-normal kids, when the husband is a professional athlete. If they can do it and still be happy then more power to them! |
