| Do all agencies give them? If you got one this year please share. |
| Lol, no. Do any give them? |
| My DW has received very small annual bonuses (ranging between $600-$900) over the past ~10 years but they are never a given and sometimes there are none. |
I got to choose between an extra 8 hours of leave or $200. |
My DH gets something like this, but it seems like it might be every 6-18 months? It's not a holiday bonus. |
| Some years, yes. I've gotten somewhere between nothing and up to $1200 or so in the last ten years (I'm GS15). SES get more. |
| Are you kidding me? I worked my tail off this year leading a large, high-profile case (GS-15 attorney) and got a $350 spot award. It's shameful. |
|
We haven't done our performance evaluations yet (due Sept 30) so obviously I'm not getting a bonus this year.
Best I've ever received was 1.5% and that's when I made like 75k. Normally I get $150. After tax it's almost enough to pay for a dinner for DH and I. |
I'm the poster who gets $150. You should see what our SES get! Normally about 25k. I check every year. The year I won a big case and got nothing, they got 45k I believe and a celebration. |
| SES salary is designed to come more from bonus I believe. I don't think their base salary is much if any higher than a GS-15. Worst thing is they have to get goals and then everyone else has to do dumb stuff to help them meet their goals. |
| I got $1600 this year. I am a GS-13. |
wrong. |
| We're not on a calendar year schedule - our performance year ends in March and bonuses, if there are any, come in August. Some years there are, and some not, and the amount in the pot varies. I always choose hours instead of cash, if given the choice. |
Quit bitching and join the private sector. |
Yes, setting goals is an outrageous thing to do. They should be punished. |
