| This is our first child and we have no clue what’s to expect. We are looking for full time care for an infant in a center. It needs to be in Fairfax/Clifton/Centreville. What is the average cost for a center in these areas? |
| On average $1800 a month. |
| expect at least 400-500/week depending on type of center. |
| Thanks! That’s a little more than what I expected. I will have to look into home daycares. |
That's cheap. Centers near me run about 2200-2400 a month. |
It was closer to $400 in Vienna 5 years ago, and will be cheaper the further from DC you go. Centers run by churches are also cheaper than centers run by large companies. OP should call around in her preferred area. $2200 / mo is common in DC but not in the far suburbs. |

$1950/month for infant in center in Springfield, which is not too far from you.
To PP’s post— I have never encountered a church-run program in this area for infants and young toddlers. Good luck with your search! |
Downtown yes, Clifton and centerville are a little cheaper. |
| It was about $400/week for an infant at the Braddock Kindercare a year or two ago. |
| We paid $2000/month for a center in Gaithersburg. |
| We toured several places between Ashburn and Sterling that were all around $350-$375 per week for infant care. |
| 1800-2400 in Montgomery County |
Our infant care is increasing to just under $2,500 in January in downtown Bethesda. |
| Cheapest is about $350 a week. $350-400 is normal. |
| We are in Silver Spring and pay $2050/month. |
