Happy Thanksgiving. The lameduck GOP House Republicans are trying to get Comey and Lynch to appear for them in private, no doubt to selectively leak out negative information a la Nunes. Comey calls it an abuse of process and will challenge the subpoenas in court. How ridiculous.

The media is not the issue here. It is the highly selective leaks by Congress that are distorting if not wrong. Comey and Lynch rightfully want to avoid those issues. Comey is more than capable of handling himself. He has been interviewed dozens of times by all sorts of media orgs, including Fox. Goolatte needs to move on. His son does not even support him. |
