Should the Nationals be renamed?

With nationalism becoming a bigger problem in our country, it seems fitting to rename the Nationals to something that doesn’t promote hate. Between the Nationals and the Redskins we come across as so.....tacky.

This is ridiculous. Redskins should be changed. Should we rename the national anthem? National does not equal or relate to nationalist ideology

National is not a synonym for nationalism. National is the adjective referring to the noun "nation". Is is not the adjective for the noun "nationalism".

Unless you're also going to suggest renaming the National Air and Space Museum, the National Museum of Natural History, the National Gallery of Art, National Airport, etc.

It’s the Nationals, not the Nationalists. Personally, I preferred The Senators, but Nats it will stay.
