Do you think more conservative areas of DMV counties might break away

And form new counties ? Lower taxes and stufff like that? I’m tired of living under the thumb of totalitarian control freaks

It would be unconstitutional.

a nd and va forbid new counties? I meant counties not forming new states

If it's conservative, it's not part of the DC area.

Also, you've got some nerve talking about "breaking away" when you yourself are a transplant (the 'DMV' is a dead giveaway).

Unless you're talking about your beef with conservative factions of the Department of Motor Vehicles?

NP. MD has a state constitution. I don’t think western/upper MoCo can break away from the east.

WTH are you even talking about? What is your specific grievance?

I think that would be great. Don’t let the door hit you ...

I'm sorry--but no true native would ever use the term 'DMV' to refer to anything but the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Sounds like Maryland is not the state for you. Even if you move to the eastern shore you are still in a very blue state and state policies and taxes impact many of your grievances more than county policies and taxes.

not if you are from md. It’s the MVA

Period do say the DMV. And you didn't even know that it's called mva in MD

Hate it when people come on here and pretend to know what they are talking about

LIke Poolesville from MoCo? They should. They are an economically depressed area. No one should throw away good money on them.

What if all the close in counties joined DC in statehood and left the rest of their states without their money? The rest of va would be in dire straits without nova
