I saw that same interview last year (Jane Pauley on the back of his motorcycle!) and his chain-smoking was my first thought, too. Meg Ryan smokes as well, but it can't be as much as he does (four packs a day at one point). |

I'm going to be blunt here and say who cares? He's not doing meth or coke, and he's not an alcoholic. I mean he'll probably be dead in 5-7 years but as far as her day-to-day QOL what does it matter? |

+1. Her public persona as an actress was always so bubbly and girlish. That’s got to be especially tough for aging. I think she would have liked her career to move to more dramatic roles, but filmgoers were that interested in seeing her in them. It’s a shame, because she was quite good. Then the work on her face made her almost unwatchable. |
