No, the PP is actually full of sh#t. The Fairness Doctrine didn't require the FCC or any other bureaucrat to decide what's "fair." It merely stipulated that an FCC-licensed broadcaster had to present the opposite points of view on a contentious issue of the public interest. If a broadcaster did not present the opposite point of view, viewers could file a complaint against the broadcaster. Networks had plenty of editorial latitude - they just couldn't blatantly lie without getting push back.

How about media that chooses to not report on news? Like the slow drip of this case. WAPO has hardly touched it--and it is both national and local.

With the FBI working the case and a DOJ that will focus on the law, not politics we will eventually know the truth. Who wants to bet that this story has a link to Wikileaks, Seth Rich and the Russian fake story of hacking?

I want to bet. Terms?

DP. What do you mean by "terms"? Thanks.

What are we betting and what constitutes winning? I am willing to eat an edible cricket (per the suggestion) if this case turns out to have no connections to Wikileaks, Seth Rich, and the Russian hack of the DNC. Of course, the other person is going to have to make his/her identity known so we can make sure he/she eats the cricket when he/she loses the bet.

I'm curious, Jeff. Do you still believe Awan is an innocent who was just going on vacation?

Everyone is entitled to the presumption of innocence. Being Muslim doesn't change that, as much as you might wish that it did. That said, the evidence that he lied on his mortgage application is compelling. But, do I think he was involved with Seth Rich? No. Do I think he was involved with the DNC hack? No. Do I think he leaked anything to Wikileaks? No.

I'm the bet guy Jeff and agree Awan wasn't involved with the DNC hack or Seth Rich, so don't know what we are betting. Awan did have access to DWS account who was involved in the hack and possibly may know about Seth Rich, that is the connection. Jeff. as for eating a cricket, its not fair as during survival training back in the day I ate more bugs than you will ever eat.

I'm the poster who suggested eating a cricket. I was trying to be nice. Eating a whole onion?

Jeff, I agree re: presumption of innocence. I feel if the FBI was arrested him at the airport, they knew more than I did and arrested him for a good reason. And it seems they did

That timeline had some strange things included. It was kind of interesting, though. I did find the part about the murder of the car dealer a little off the wall. However, if there is a connect to Awan then, maybe it belongs there.

However, listing DWS brother as influencing the case is a little far. I've posted this before. There is no "the assistant US Attorney" in the DC office. There are many, many. I looked it up once--I'm sure it is well over 100. I cannot imagine they would let him near this case. But, I guess stranger things have happened.

I found one blatant false statement the first time I read over the timeline. I would not depend on it for accuracy.

I am amazed that someone would produce a website like that and even more amazed that the poster -- though a known troll -- would post a link here. Just think of his sources of info if this is the stuff that is fed to him? It's stuff like this that gives credence to the fake news industry and paid trolls.

First time I've seen that website. Also, the part about Petraeus being part of a spy ring? Didn't read that part, but it really casts doubt on the information posted.
I do think the Daily Caller articles are legit. Rosiak always includes links to documentation.

Wow, nearly 24 hours passed between my post and the question to me, but I'm expected to respond within minutes? Right-wingers are weird.

To answer the question, since I am not aware of any evidence of Awan leaking to any foreign government, I have no reason to believe that any such leaks occurred.

I tried to respond. Got a message saying 'forbidden'. How many others like me?

Which one? She's been part of numerous scandals, all of them sadly legit for a high ranking member of such a "beloved" and "smart" and "woke" administration.
