Per Kane’s IG he is on vacation. Maybe spending spring break with his kids.

I work for iHeart. No one is dumping Kane. If anything firings will start in the smaller markets, def not D.C. Also who would replace Kane? It'd have to be someone the company has been "grooming" for a bit.

Bobby Bones will be new Seacrest or maybe Kane.

Then who would replace Bobby?

I think the new Seacrest has to be younger than Seacrest. Seacrest is 43 according to Google and Kane is 40; that's not really younger. The new Seacrest could, in theory, be (gag me) John. I think Kane will stay just where he's at. DC is no small market, you know? He'll be the Elliot of Top 40 for the DC area.

Eh syndication wise Kane is bigger than Elliot. John doesn’t have the personality to be the next Seacrest

Kane is the worrrrst. I don't know how listeners/coworkers tolerate his personality. I stopped listening around a year and a half ago but every now and then I'll put it on during the commute and omg he and IJ are unbearable.

LOL #1 with who? Women 12-14 who only listen to top 40? (Remember Hot is the ONLY station that plays top 40, that ain't about Peter.)

I wonder if Bobby Bones or anyone else could take his "#1" morning show crown in the DC area. I feel like my only coworkers that listen to Kane have preteen kids in the car.

please not bobby bones, he is so annoying and full of himself. his 'I grew up poor and no one will ever love me' schtick is getting so old.

I fully agree that Bones' constant reminders that he grew up poor are really, really played out, but even so I prefer him to Kane's boring show

I'm the person who said that and I 100% agree

Isn't Bobby Bones strictly on a Country Station platform. Unless Hot 99.5 changes genres and becomes a country station I doubt his morning show could replace the Lame show. Now, if you wanted him to be broadcasted in the DMV as a alternative morning show to listen to then that would make more sense and be awesome. I like BB and I enjoy county music- wouldn't want to hear his show and listen to Justin bebier as a side effect to the stations genre.

you are correct. Bobby Bones is the face of iHeartCountry. Just like how Elvis (or in same cases Seacrest) is the face for their Top 40, I believe The Woody Show is becoming the face of iHeartAlt
