Trump's rambling speech today

I know the guy has no shame, but come on.

Surprise surprise trump tells another lie. He said lock her up about Hillary and other people. Plenty of times and it is on film.

He acts like he simply chose not to prosecute her because he is such a nice guy. More like they tried their damnedest but couldn’t find any evidence of a crime!

"I didn't say lock her up"

PROVEN!!! Wake up, Republicans. This guy lies nonstop and you all KNOW it. You are in deep delusion and denial to claim he never said it.

There is nothing to wake up. Trump is their leader and all republicans want to emulate him.

I guess Trump is scared about going to prison. But this really takes a lot of chutzpah.

I can’t wait for the GOP to start gaslighting us all about this.

They’re already trying.

It would be telling about his mental state if, after evaluation, he was sentenced to one of the medical prisons.

It's disgusting. It's disgusting he calls fellow Americans scum and it's disgusting that he insults our fallen heroes with such filth. The man is a disgusting human being incapable of thinking of anyone but himself. He is the ultimate in victimhood politics, claiming he has experienced the worst of everything on a day set aside to remember the fallen, most of whom were young men who never got to live their lives.

I dare any Republican to defend this.

It will take a few hours for them to get their talking points. But then people in senior positions will say “didn’t see it/hear about it” and the people on these boards will find Biden eating ice cream in Delaware and how disrespectful he is.

Which is why it still feels important to call out Trump as the trash he is, no hedging.

I agree. But I think most of the country has gone numb.
A majority of Republicans are deliberatly ignoring Trump's constant transgressions, because they want to vote for the GOP nominee, whoever he is, without puking. They want to believe their news media feeds who tell them that Democrats are evil and Trump isn't that bad. To keep up that charade, they need to avoid watching or listening to Trump - or at least to only watch curated clips. The only ones who can go to his rallies, follow his every post and still vote for him are either extremely stupid or billionnaires and corporations who stand to benefit from friendly legislation and tax cuts.

I think this debate setup is genius for disrupting this—Biden is going to squash the idea of voting for Trump like a bug, just by being there and not being Trump—on both sides of the summer!

I certainly hope so. It's the summer of hope, what with Trump's felony conviction and the two debates.

Unless Biden falls of his bike or mistakes Mexico for Egypt again.

At least he can still ride a bike, I guess?

PP you replied to. Good thought. Skip the debate, have a live bike riding contest instead and take a live quiz on which head of state belongs to which nation. Despite Biden's senior moments, I have no doubt he'd win.

Wow. I can't imagine wanting to emulate a delusional, pathological liar.

I would pay to see this. Especially when Trump identified the PM of Canada as "Justin Canada."

His relationship to MIT is that he had a family member go there? That is quite a stretch.

Apparently Wharton isn't enough, he needs to claim some MIT connection too.
