| His speech today was typical of what he might say at a rally without all the red hats in the background and hysterical cheering every five minutes. He sounded like a deranged mental patient. The only good thing from my point of view is that I checked and Fox News was running the entire thing without commentary which means any R viewer with even half a brain could see the obvious unhinged nature of his often hard to even decipher ramblings. |

I literally can’t find a transcript and I want to because several outlets refer to the remarks as “rambling.” I can’t stomach listening to him at any length anymore.
Politico had the most quotes: ““It’s my honor to be doing this, but it’s a really unpleasant thing, to be honest,” Trump said. “But it’s a great honor.”” ““He did work. But he wasn’t a fixer. He was a lawyer,” Trump said. “You know, they like to use the word ‘fixer.’ He wasn’t a fixer. … He was a fully accredited lawyer.”” ““By the way, and nothing ever happened. There was no anything. Nothing ever happened,” Trump said, again denying having sex with Daniels. “And they know it. But they were salacious, salacious as they could be. And it had nothing to do with the case.”” Not the transcript I was looking for but even three out of context quotes show what a reduced quality of cognition he’s working with. https://www.politico.com/news/2024/05/31/trump-post-trial-speech-00160997 |
I know you're looking for a transcript, but you can see it here. Just scroll through it. He goes on and on and on and on...about nothing. He doesn't sound Presidential. He sounds like the old man at the end of the bar who won't shut up (but nobody is really listening to). This is a preview of MAGA rallies this summer. Fun times in the heat. Will really inspire voters to the polls. https://www.c-span.org/video/?536064-1/president-trump-holds-press-conference-guilty-verdict |
That was indeed rambly. The best part was Mr. Lock Her Up saying that he’d make sure no presidential candidate (or president, maybe? It’s hard to folliow) should be put on trial again. |

For anyone who enjoys listening to podcasts and is interested in this topic, there's a new podcast by two psychologists called "Shrinking Trump" that discusses his malignant narcissism and his cognitive decline from the perspective of psychology/psychiatry.

I dare any Trump supporter to listen to the entire thing. |
yes those who keep saying that democrats have weaponized the judiciary should recall the main chant of the trump-clinton election. Of course, they couldn't lock her up, because she hadn't commited a felony. Only Trump has. Project much? |
Oh my god. Other than being able to copy and paste here to discuss various aspects, that’s transcript enough for me. That man is so far gone, and the worst part is that he’s got potential miles to go before he sleeps… he’s insane. |
Thanks. I also watched for the first 10 minutes or so. Painful. Like almost his kids should step in and help him painful. |
Does Wharton have expiration dates on their degrees? |
Instead he has his kids and an entire political party, plus a bunch of billionaires, the “mainstream” media and a few international folks like Putin propping him up. |
Well why are they going to have him debate? That is going to be a disaster for trump. |
If he’s having a good day, they’ll juice him up with whatever is his upper of choice and send him out; it’s not like his followers expect or would appreciate cogency. If he’s having a bad day, they’ll cancel on a pretext. |
