3 seconds rule also changed this year to a stick and an arm's length away not just a stick's length away. Some refs don't seem to have gotten that memo.
When there are so many college games happening it's harder to get decent refs since most are at the college level. |

I think anyone who thinks that THEY know all the rules better than a person who actually referees multiple times a week is delusional.
A lot of refs are terrible because of lack motivation or because they let their emotions dictate how they call the game. But I’m positive they still know the rules better than the parents on the sidelines. |
It means A. visi played poorly in the second half and the game was closer than it should have been. B. That visi does not use its entire offense because the sisters and the other midi do whatever they want. Zero play from the x, very little passing in the transition, and zero use of the attack line. Until they straighten this out outcomes will be below potential. |
Agree. Stop middies at Visi. Stop Visi..Simple if you can do it. |
Teams that run offense through only a few top players will never beat teams run their offense through the entire team. A number of teams fall into this category. |
| SJC Loyola score? |
The only change to the 3 second rule in NFHS had to do with administering the penalty on calls outside the CSE and below the GLE it now goes to the closets dot. “ 10-1y – Three Seconds PENALTIES: Clarifies free position locations for three-second violations and requires a free position to be awarded at the closest dot for a three-second violation when the spot of the ball is outside the critical scoring area and below the goal line extended.” https://www.nfhs.org/sports-resource-content/girls-lacrosse-rules-changes-2024/ |
GC has no class. |
Maybe not but they’re undefeated |
^ shows you don't watch that many Visi games then, for fairly obvious reasons if you watched any games. |
Like Northwestern you mean? Scane and Taylor had six goals apiece in yesterday's win over Md. |
SR did that last year in close games. Good for GC. |
Hey "disgruntled parent of a sophomore at SJC who is not currently getting PT on Varsity", we get the point. You make it after every game win or lose. Coach seems to be managing a pretty decent season from what I've seen. |
SR actually got the ball back during that stall but couldn't score so GC didn't stall the whole 8min. SR had their chance but blew it. Maybe SR parents should spend less time heckling the other team. |
