PP here. I'm referring to their cultural heritage and achievements in art, science, technology, writings, etc going way further back than what you mentioned--as in hundreds of years. |
I completely agree with this. It is all about hard work and family priorities. I know a family of Vietnamese refugees whose 7 (yes, 7) kids all graduated from U.S. schools with excellent grades and attended top universities on scholarship because the parents worked their tails off to not only put food on the table but reinforce the importance of family, education, and discipline. "Asians" can be found across the whole economic spectrum. |
Remember when the Democrats said they aren't your kids, they're ours? |
Today, America is the only superpower. Our military and industry dwarfs all other countries. |
yeah, and more apropos of the thread, our colleges and universities are pretty highly regarded and sought after too! |
SCOTUS: let’s just ignore racism. This has worked out so well in the past. I also don’t understand how taking affirmative action points away from Blacks and Latinos makes Asians score higher on personality? |
Remember when RWNJs weren’t smart enough to figure out what he meant? |
They won't have racial quotas. The "personality" thing was just their beaurocratic excuse for limiting the number of Asians, but now discrimination based on race in college admissions is illegal. |
If Harvard wants diversity of thought, then they will seek to admit students who think differently. Why is that hard to do without discriminating by race? |
You are very wrong. You are arguing badly and illogically with a white male Princeton grad from a public high school and no preference category who majored in Philosophy. I have nothing against the STEM students but the History, English, and other liberal arts and humanities majors are no less valuable to the school, the country, and the world. |
They don't want diversity of thought. They don't consider that "diversity." Diversity is defined by skin color, according to liberals. Not thought. Not socioeconomic status. Not anything but skin color. |
Tell me more. |
Okay. Didn't know Princeton produced this kind of idiot. Time for a change then. And you mentioned you're white male for what? |
Listening to how Republicans receive messages is like listening to someone at the end of a game of telephone, one of those in which several people have actively tried to bend the message. And then Republicans act like that’s straight from the mouth of Democrats. It’s intellectual dishonesty. |
Well, if your kid has a hard time grasping complex theories, then yes, they would need extra time to do homework. Not every kid needs the extra hours to do well academically. |
