Suddenly getting very violent intrusive thoughts ever since I went back to work

I was a SAHM for 2 year's and 3 weeks ago I started working from home. My daughter has a wonderful nanny. I am happy with my job. Out of NOWHERE I am getting all these violent intrusive thoughts about my nails being ripped off. It's so bizarre because I feel like thing's are going great in my life otherwise. I have occasionally had intrusive thoughts in the past but this particular one will not go away. I think about it at least once an hour. Has anyone else experienced this?

That's so bizarre. I hope they go away soon. I don't think it's related to your job. Do you work at a nail salon?

How old is your youngest child? Could this be pp anxiety? Do your hormones feel off?

Schedule a physical and discuss this with your doctor.

Op. I have to wait 3 months until my health insurance kicks in unfortunately but I will consider anything at this point. It's really scary and a lot of times I am having the thoughts when I am doing something fun with my daughter!

This is very strange OP. You need to see a doctor. I think working is probably helping. Do you get these thoughts at work?
