What did you do for your 10 year anniversary?

Did you and your spouse exchange big gifts? Take a special trip? Or something else? Ours is next year and we are looking for inspiration.

We went to a nicer than average restaurant for dinner. My brother and SIL went to Bali for 10 days.

We went on a cruise to Bermuda out of Baltimore. It was fabulous!

Took an amazing 10 day kid free vacation.

We also did a big kid free trip.

We went to Barcelona p.. it was a great trip.

Got divorced

We had my sister babysit the kids so we could go to a restaurant and argue about how I don't make enough money. I think it was Tara Thai restaurant in Bethesda.

At ten years with two careers and three children ages 5,3 and 1 I'm sure we did something (dinner maybe?) but life then was just a blur. I'm sure good sex was part of it.

Kid free trip to the Caymans. 20 is coming up and we will do a trip again.

Had 4 couples over for dinner so total of 10 people including us. The 4 couples had been at our wedding and were good friends.

Two nights in a great hotel in NYC. We saw a Broadway play, walked all over the city, had great meals. We aren't rich and we had young kids (we still have them--they're just 4 years older now ) so this felt like a huge luxury. It was SO FUN.

10 day trip kid free...fabulous!

We cooked dinner ourselves for us and the 4 kids. Put the babies to bed on time and watched a family movie with the older two kids. We probably had ice cream sundaes as well.
Now that the older kids are in high school they help cook dinner and more importantly do the dishes!!! If we are good at planning dh and I manage to schedule matching telework days so that we can spend our lunch hour together.
