The New Weight Watchers - WW - Wellness Works/Wellness Wins??

Anonymous
What do people think about this? I know there are some WW members on here.

I have lost 30 pounds so far on WW and love it! But I really don’t like this rebranding. I like that Weight Watchers gave me a clear path to weight loss that didn’t require anything additional (like exercise, mindfulness, etc).

I'm currently a WW member BUT I've fallen off program -- not at all related to the rebranding. I'm trying to get back on the app but haven't yet.

Do it by 10pm tonight. No need to wait, get on it! I started a month ago and love this plan.

I love all the zero point foods and focus on eating healthier. But fell like the WW makes it too complicated now.

Have they changed the points again?

I really liked the last change, so I hope not.

The main thing I'd like them to change is to add additional features to the app to track more qualitative information like "I ate 10 pts of crackers and cheese when feeling stressed about work."

I love the new plan. In the past I lost baby weight twice on WW while nursing and since I got extra points for that it worked. But once I'm not nursing and my points were lowered, I couldn't keep up. Now with the new plan with many foods at 0 its doable for me again. I lost 7 lbs in first months. I also have to say that I had many cheat days and I didn't track. But I do OTF 5 times a week. So I figure that will take care of the chest days. I'm not in a rush. I want to lose 25 lb over a year. So I'm planning to do WW most of the days and keep exercising.

Sorry its 7 lb over 6 weeks. Whic is not bad considering that I cheated at least two days a week and was off for a whole week.]

I left when the last new plan came in. I lost my weight on Points Plus and had trouble maintaining with all the tweaks. I wish they grandfathered the old plans for former members.

I could do it when I could calculate the points in my head (1 pt per 50 cals - fiber +fat). I still use the old point values for foods but my daily limit is the new lower number (13) and I use the new zero point list. My own system.

I love the new plan. The Wellness Works thing is no big deal.

It didn’t work for me. I lost doing pointsplus and smartpoints. I gained weight with freestyle. If I could eat freely on my own, I wouldn’t be fat!!

Same. So frustrating because I lost and maintained really easily with Points and PointsPlus. Smartpoints was horrible. So restrictive and not a lifestyle. I stopped using it and gained some weight back. Freestyle is more liveable but I don’t seem to be losing, either. I’ve just started double tracking and looks like I might lose that way but wonder what is the point of using WW and then I should just do calorie counting.

Bump. Thinking about joining now that I’ve had my baby. Gained a bunch of weight with a miscarriage, only gained 14lbs with this pregnancy (but was overweight) and have lost 24lbs at 11 days postpartum just nursing. I’d like to get healthy again without compromising my supply (but I have an oversupply again so not too concerned).
