| This is OP. The tread isn’t pointless. I, like you, come on here a lot to get advice about schools. I’m curious where everyone sends their kids to school to see if I’m getting advice solely from people who go to the most popular charters and public schools, or if there is some diversity in where people send their kids. |

It's a mixed bag. I always got the feeling that most people who come here don't have children in most popular schools. They are here for advice about the less known schools. The popular schools come up when somebody says something specific about a school plus quite possible NW parents are well represented on DCUM. Our kids go to NWDC middle and elementary school. While the schools are good, I really like it that we live so close to both of them. |
