If we all vote for Floreen than she can win! We have three votes in our house going for her.

I'd be fine voting for Robin but happier to give my vote to Floreen, who I assume has a much better chance.

I'm going to vote for Floreen.

Most people I know are voting for Floreen.

Ehrlich.

I’m voting for Floreen.

If you think Trump is bad, wait until you see Robin Ficker in office!

So it sounds like people do think Floreen can win. I’m voting for her.

Ficker.

Florence and Elrich are just two side of the same coin

What's so great about her?
Or bad about Elrich?

Just the facts, please.

Elrich is very left-progressive, and I think what MoCo needs is a more business-friendly county exec. Floreen isn't great, she's just not as bad as Elrich.

I'm actually going to vote Ficker because of his past victories on term limits and property tax limits, but I'd vote Floreen otherwise. Never Elrich.

Especially if you live up-county and not in the Takoma Park/Silver Spring area, you should be voting for anyone but Elrich. He doesn't seem to understand the lifestyle or needs of people living in places like Clarksville and Germantown. You can't solve our transportation woes solely with BRT (bus rapid transit) -- it just doesn't work in areas that are so spread out. We need to address the road situation also.

People are actually voting for Ficker?!!

I'm voting for Elrich and hope Floreen doesn't win. And I don't live in Takoma/Silver Spring.

I think the development we currently have going on is already putting too many cars on the road and overcrowding schools. We need a much more thoughtful way to allow the county to grow than is in Floreen's sights as she is raking in so much money from developers.

Montgomery County is such a strange place. People hate "developers". Development isn't considered bad in most places. Companies want to build more housing which is needed. Elrich wants to charge "developers" more taxes on new homes. This will just raise the price of homes and further inflate housing prices as they pass the cost along to the homebuyers. MoCo is not doing well economically compared to Fairfax and really the last thing it we need are additional taxes and roadblocks to business.

Also, Floreen wants to expand 270 in the North (according to her site) rather than where it's already widest which is what Hogan wants to do for some reason. I agree with her on this. Expand the road where the bottleneck is, not where it's widest. Elrich doesn't want to do anything. He has mentioned reversable lanes but to be honest, I don't believe that he wants them.
