when do you find time to meet with AP

I've read so much about cheating on this site but I am always wondering how/when partners meet up without getting caught. I assume most people work so it would be hard to leave early/come late on a regular basis. Weekends are usually spent with family. So when? And what do couples do when they spend so little time together? How does a relationship grow and with all the time restraints? Not sure. But maybe I don't understand how affairs work. Please enlighten me!

My youngest is in high school and I work full-time. Easy to meet after work for dinner or weekends here and there. Also able to get away for a night or two several times a year.

I'm interested in this answer, too. My AP and i have been together for 5 months and only been able to meet twice! But, we are just about sex, no relationship development needed. So far, he has taken two long lunches, and I've met him somewhere then. Our big difficulty is finding a place to meet.

And by long lunches, you mean time at a hotel? And what excuse do you use to get away for a night or two?

Lunch dates, dinner or a bar after work. Mine would sleep over my house once a week or so. I didn’t know what he told his wife. Didn’t care. (FWIW I wasn’t married; just him. He first told me they were separated which turned out to be a lie)

When do people have time to have an affair? I am knackered just working, shopping, cleaning, cooking etc. Even going to a social engagement during the weekend makes me sad.

I guess this is why the partners are cheating.

I cannot imagine that my DH is cheating on me, but reading this response makes me wonder.
