Serena is a bully and a crybaby

She deserved to lose today but behaved like an entitled douche. I used to love her but no more.

Say more about that.

NP here: https://www.cbssports.com/tennis/news/us-open-final-2018-serena-williams-demands-apology-from-umpire-after-controversial-game-penalty/

I didn't see this interaction, but the linked report tells a disappointing story about her reaction today.

Still, sort of a strong reaction on your part, OP to decide you don't like her any more because she's had one bad day.

Bully? I disagree. Emotional? Yes. Happens to the best of us.

Sorry, Serena was treated very unfairly.

Who knows who would have won if the chair umpire hadn't let his own emotions affect his calls.

Serena continues to get treated like shit by this entire organization.
No... she’s not a bully? Bully to who?

Crying? As if being called out for not cheating isn’t a reason to express emotion.

Bully or crying ... pick a side

Like she said “men have done way worse”

This is the a sport that implicitly accuses Serena of cheating all the time with how disproportionately they drug test her. Color me shocked that Ramos would selectively enforce rules against her as well.

She did fine. The way she responded to the crowd afterwards by asking them not to boo was great and true leadership. OP, get off your fat ass and clean up the potato chips from the couch.

I think she handled the mistreatment with class and integrity. And her grace and leadership during the trophy presentation were lovely. She appeared to feel honestly bad for Osaka that she had to win that way.

What are you talking about? That ump was a total d*ick.

OP, stop being emotional. You still love Serena. You act like this is the first sporting event you ever watched. Athletes get emotional. Have you ever played a sport before?

OP probably still lives John McEnroe. 10X worse than Serena’s actions today...not even close

I don't think she was being coached. I really don't. And she was pretty graceful. She told the guy he better apologize...could have been much more colorful!

I continue to have great respect for Serena, but GO JAPAN!!!
Osaka played like a true master of the game.
(And both are also African, so yeah!)
