Plenty of time for speculation between now and then. ECNL still has one more podcast this year!

Next podcast would be until Jan 1 2025?

They said sometime around the New Year. There weren't any cliffhangers though, like last time.

ECNL is slowing eroding the good will and support they had from many of us when this whole SY thing first came to the surface. Their lack of follow through/comms to their leagues/teams/clubs/players is baffling and creating a bit of ill will. Their promises to discuss on a pod cast, and then ignore the issue entirely is creating mistrust. I don't see how they don't have a comms team that isn't all over helping them draft some kind of message to keep people at bay or at least remove the ambiguity. It's pretty disappointing for them to go dark after stirring everything up and having heavy comms about it all the way up through November. My player feels in limbo. ECNL should be forthcoming with their plan (any plan--even if it's not one we agree with, at least we can get out of limbo and make decisions). Every day they stay silent a bit more goodwill slips away.

I can agree with this, but something must have happened behind the scenes that changed their tone about USSF. To be fair it is not just ECNL, it is US Club and USYS as well. I say give it till the end of the year and then we can get our pitchforks out.

Your player is in limbo because of the soap opera drama and hysterics created by ECNL parents

No follow up from ECNL
No posts from usys, us club, Ayso thanking everyone for helping this plan go through in 26/27.
No talk ing about implementation on the ECNL podcast.
I feel like 26/27 school year may not even happen at this point

How is this US Soccers fault?
ECNL wants to run things their way, so they should be the once to set the standards.
What they want is for US Soccer to take the lead, so that when shit hits the fan, they will point fingers

ECNL shit the bed and it’s time for them to reveal their plan

Lavers and ECNL look like total putzes here. Unless they have an actionable plan that they release soon, they have lost a lot of credibility.

I agree with the sentiment on this page. I was all in on ECNL but more and more I'm interested in what GA has to offer my Q4 2012 daughter.

The move to align with MLSNext looks wise and shows commitment to long term exposure. My end goal for my daughter is less intense, more academic D1's and she's an insanely dedicated athlete so I don't feel pressure to bow to ECNL if its not beneficial to her development.

More and more as these miscommunications and lack of commitment to a plan plays out, Im thinking I'll skip the circus and have my daughter shine as the best kid on the nearby GA team in our market which isn't as good as the ECNL teams but fewer politics and stress with the same destination.

Same. Honestly it totally fits the bill for our club soccer experience- bait and switch, wash/rinse/repeat. I’m mean it could’ve only been better if they ended it with ‘trust the process’.

Lets be honest, you aren't making college decisions for your 6th grader now, and if you are, that's on you. Let her live.
Rinse and repeat: There's not any meaningful alignment. It is a PR ploy and soccer is a business. Always has been and always will be.
