Most annoying DCUM posters... name yours.

Any Trump supporter spewing their lies.

So so tired of the idiocy.

Anonymous wrote:I don’t know if they’ve been mentioned yet, but the “Did anyone (hear that loud noise/ see that flash of light/ smell that odor) in Bethesda?” posters.

So random and neighborhood-specific and I only see these posts for select parts of Montgomery County. Take it to your neighborhood listserv or Next Door.

I live in Bethesda and I know exactly what you mean, but I've only seen that on Next Door.

I live close to where the radio towers / soccer field was and the day that they used dynamite to bring the towers down, there were no less than 25 posts on ND asking what that boom was (even though neighbors and MC had been posting over & over again for two weeks straight to warn us about it in advance).

"Cool story, bro" is a popular meme, boomer.

Ugh, the link won't post correctly, so here it is...

The most suitable response one can give to a story that completely wasted ones precious time.
Parents, co-workers, and history classes often provoke its usage.

Bobby: So guess what? Nina wrote me up again, because i came to work late the other day...

Kelly: Cool story bro.

I'm annoyed by the poster who keeps responding to posts referencing experience at private schools to the private school forum.

The poster says:

Here is the forum for you to post on: https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/forums/show/31.page

It's obnoxious, especially when the poster is offering information relevant to any type of school.

That doesn’t make the posters who use it any less annoying. Quite the opposite.

It's a passive aggressive way to be rude and dismissive of someone else's experience.

Speaking of annoying DCUM posters - it's anyone who uses the word "boomer" insultingly. Ageism is a form of bigotry and hostility. Perhaps someday the use of the word "boomer" as an insult will be as reviled as those who use other racial/gender epithets.

Boomer sounds better than "out-of-touch old hag".

I don’t care how old you are, but if you think you sound funny or in-the-know when you say “boomer” or “Karen” or “cool story, bro,” you really don’t.

The ones who complain that they feel poor because they can’t have the lifestyle they feel their HHI entitles them to.

I don't typically use the terms myself, but "boomer" and "cool story, bro" are funny when used correctly.

Ugh for me it's a category of poster.

"I am 27 years old and have $5 million saved for retirement but I only save $40,000 per month for my emergency fund! I already shop at Aldi's and have a $50k mortgage on a $10 million house. I am getting a trust fund but it's ONLY $2 million. Am I behind?"
