I would look beyond the mortality rate
The recovery takes a few weeks, if you are hospitalized it takes even longer, could be months. You could have issues with your heart and other organs.

I have been following and watching the numbers closely.

Then you've been watching the numbers of an old and sick nursing home and long term care population getting sick and dying because the idiots in government were placing positive patients back into nursing homes by law.

The stats on the those healthy, catching and having prolonged symptoms are statistically irrelevant when compared against the population.

How can you find work without internet? All job applications are online. Target, Aldi, Safeway, Starbucks, Macis all want you to fill their online application before they will even talk to you.
Phones can be purchased used and refurbished. How old does a phone have to be to match your standards?

For the younger/healthier people I have known to be dealing with this, they are not fully recoverd and have been told it may be weeks/months before they are, if ever. No one knows. But I have friends who were out of commission for the entire month of March who still don't feel well enough to, say, go to a grocery store or hang out with their kids.

This is a brutal illness that has many different manifestations, from asymptomatic, to mild, to severe to fatal.

I get really annoyed at shit like this. I’m not a Trumper at all, but why is it a “right-wing maga lover” thing for people wanting to open up and go back to normal again? I know several friends who work in the beauty/salon industry who have been jobless for 2 months and need to work. Some of us need to go back or we lose everything. And I’m a well-educated liberal.
