Wellesley (heavily wooded—felt like Robin Hood would drop out of a tree at any moment)

Richmond (very clean and well-maintained; spouse said “This is what a college SHOULD look like”)

Indiana (trees perfectly interspersed with nice buildings)

Texas Tech & Oklahoma State (surprisingly)

OMG! You did not just say Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas is a beautiful university!!! It has been rated as the most heinous Universities by several different publications including Sports Illustrated.

On a good day, the smell from the cattle feed lots sits on the ugliest campus in the US all day! Nothing quite like it in the US!!!!!

Go see it for yourself, dipshit.

Did you just call me "dipshit"? You are funny! I grew up in Texas and Texas Tech might be the armpit of America! Do you deny the fact that the smell of the the cattle feed Loys always rests on campus? Do you deny the fact that Texas Tech has continously has been named as one of the ugliest campuses in the US? Show me something otherwise!

You are from Tx but apparently never went there. I heard bad things about TTU and Lubbock, but the photos of TTU that I saw all looked nice. So a few months ago I was driving across the country & decided to take a look for myself.

The city is nice, no bad smell. Nice bars & restaurants adjacent to campus. The campus is very pretty, as nice as any large campus I’ve seen, and I’ve seen many. Beautiful architecture, nice landscaping etc. Just do a Google search & look at the photos if you don’t believe me.

You are a gullible lemming & let others do your thinking.

has anyone mentioned College of the Holy Cross in worchester MA? Gorgeous campus! We aren't Catholic but it's now on our short list. Of course not just because of the lovely campus setting . . . but that certainly gives it an edge.

So what? Why do you hate America so much?

America is amazing! Missouri is not.

St. Louis is blue. Missouri could easily go blue. Maybe you post like this to discourage Democrats from moving to Missouri and casting votes in Missouri.

I drove through Massachusetts as a teenager and stopped to drive around the campus of Mt. Holyoke. I was 18 and about to go away to college myself but I fell in love with the campus. I sent away for the brochure and looked at it all of the time. I didn't apply because it was way too expensive and I didn't want to burden my single parent mother.

Hollins University’s quadrangle. Lots of pretty white trim:

It is beautiful, but don’t you dare spell or pronounce it as “Worchester.” More like “Wister,” or, if you are from Mass., “Wistah.”

Sweet Briar is beautiful. That didn't keep it from nearly going under.

The Seven Sisters colleges have some gems, Mount Holyoke, Bryn Mawr, Wellesley, and Vassar in particular.

Wash U is in a lovely part of St. Louis. St. Louis has many issues, but it also has some beautiful urban spaces and great places to eat and visit. I suspect you aren't at all familiar with the area.

I mean, Boston and MA have their accents

There is also a difference between Newark in NJ and Newark in DE. And we will tell you if you mispronounce it, I assure you.

I’m sure there are other regional accents and ways to pronounce geographic locations.

I visited Louisville last year with my family. That is another one that locals pronounce their own way and the rest of us get wrong frequently

In the south, Worcester is pronounced like Wooster and Louisville is “Lewis-ville”

I thought Louisville was "Lou-a-ville" just like Baltimore is "Ball-mer" for locals.

Missouri is not even purple.

And democrats in most of St Louis are equivalent to Youngkin republicans in Virginia.

Likely depends on what part of the south and how much their pallets can make some of the noises
