My heart goes out to the family of Alex Pretti and to the entire Minnesota community who are under attack by Trump’s ICE and Border Patrol terrorist thugs. Pretti was murdered in cold blood by Border Patrol gestapo. He didn’t incite anything or threaten anyone. He was helping female protesters who were getting brutalized by the Border Patrol sickos when he was pepper sprayed and gang-tackled to the ground. He was bludgeoned on the ground before being shot repeatedly and killed.

This isn’t my opinion. This is what happened. This isn’t my perspective. These are the facts.

It does not surprise me that the Trump regime is calling Alex a domestic terrorist who had an agenda to massacre Border Patrol and ICE. This regime is made up of despicable and vile humans who lie about everything. They are terrorists and horrible humans.

What makes me livid, and what should also come as no surprise, however, is the coverage from CNN and CBS and Politico and of course Fox and frankly all corporate news. They have all parroted regime talking points that Alex Pretti was resisting and that somehow having a concealed handgun with a lawful permit made it justifiable to kill him. Alex did not brandish his weapon. He was holding a cell phone. Alex was not resisting; he was attacked and bludgeoned and murdered.

Anyone who is an American stands with Alex not with the garbage KKK shit that shot him in cold blood!

Kyle Rittenhouse, anyone? Once upon a time, it was heroic to bring a gun to a protest, and to kill people with it as well. Now, just owning a gun apparently gives ICE the right to unload 10 bullets into you? Not even brandishing it; just owning it?

I am very suspicious of all these “arm yourself” posts.

We know for a fact that there are other countries using US social media in ways that are meant to destabilize our society. To me, this reads like that type of effort. One, what quicker way to destabilize an already stressed situation that to add guns to the mix? And two, this feels to me like someone non-American who copied sentiments from social media without understanding the finer distinctions of our political culture. Of course there CAN be anti-Trump protesters who believe in arming yourself, but it’s such a small percentage that it strikes me as strange to hear anyone arguing it at all.

He brandished a gun. Why wasn't he murdered for it? The ICU RN never once brandished his gun and was in the middle of helping a woman stand up.

Again, protesters should not be bringing guns to protests against ICE. That’s a recipe for disaster.

He literally never brandished it, grabbed it, pointed it. ER staff handle sh*t like this every single day without murdering people. He was murdered for exercising his legal first and second amendment constitutional rights. The ICE agents here should legally be facing criminal prosecution.

Arming yourself as protection FROM protestors is not the same as arming yourself AS a protestor. Furthermore, Rittenhouse attempted to turn himself into the police, which is a far cry from protesting ICE or resisting arrest. He wasn’t an agitator, he was running from the agitators.

A. It is legal to carry a handgun on your person in Minnesota, either openly or concealed, provided you have a valid Minnesota Permit to Carry, which the victim had.
B. Define "protestor." All I saw was a guy standing on the sidewalk filming. Even if he were actively protesting, it is his First Amendment right to do so. Do you have a problem with that?
C. How is a guy peacefully filming at a distance from LEOs an "agitator"?

I still haven't forgiven the right for their hypocrisy over the shooting of Philandro Castile. Shot and killed for merely owning a gun while being a person of color. And the 2A crowd was SILENT.
