| What we DON’T know is more concerning to me. How many calls, on how many devices, in how many countries have these morons participated in? How many other “mistakes” did they make? |
Me too. |
Please. The "breach" was that they accidentally included a journalist? Ooopsie? That's the ONLY way we know they were using a non-secure app for this discussion. How many MORE times have they been using Signal for these types of discussions and for sharing highly classified, secure materials? This was no "breach". This was the exposure of people at the highest levels of government, having no effing idea what they should be doing. And why exactly was the US treasury secretary on this chat in the first place? Why did he need to know details of the attacks ahead of time? |

Again - oopsie! It was unintentional, people. We have no experience, knowledge or expertise. We will learn and do better next time. It's not like we have been using Signal all along. This was the very first time we used it. Our damn bad luck we accidentally added a journalist to the chat. We never added anyone else to any of the other chats, though. Source: Trust us, bro. |
Those emails from Hillary's private server originated at an unclassified State Department server. They were declared classified after the fact. At no point did she or any of her staff knowingly put classified information on an unclassified system. It's not clear yet where the information that Hegseth was typing into his phone came from (which is why an investigation needs to happen) but it seems likely it came from a classified system. |
I’m hearing that career State Dept staff have already been forced to give briefings and onboarding for unconfirmed ambassador appointees. |
So what? They’ll get confirmed eventually. |
Right. They deliberately used an illegal communication method to avoid official record and FOIA requests. |
Using Signal for classified exchanges is illegal. Plus, one of the participants was literally inside the Kremlin when the chats were taking place, ergo, the Russians have the contents of his phone at that time. This is a thousand times worse than anything Hillary or Hunter Biden did. |
They don't all get confirmed. Congress has an advise and consent role. Sometimes Presidents nominate unacceptable people. |

Did anyone catch this? Wild!
On March 14, 2025— 11 days before the published leak, Tulsi Gabbard wrote on X: "Any unauthorized release of classified information is a violation of the law and will be treated as such." “Our nation's Intelligence Community must be focused on our national security mission. Politically motivated leaks undermine our national security and the trust of the American people, and will not be tolerated.” “Unfortunately, such leaks have become commonplace with no investigation or accountability. That ends now. We know of and are aggressively pursuing recent leakers from within the Intelligence Community and will hold them accountable.” |
