I hope to be pleasantly surprised, and the Democrats and Independents come out strong in November, because Paxton has won three statewide elections. This is who Texans obviously relate to for political representation.

+1. Paxton's second election was close, but the last one really wasn't.

I do think Talarico is a good candidate, but it's going to be a turnout based race.

Michigan is too close to call. We have Trumper Mike Rogers who has been living in Florida probably against Haley Stevens, who is flat out strange and has a whiny Midwest accent. Rogers looks like he has a good chance of pulling it off.

Ossoff, running in a noncompetitive primary, got more votes than the combined vote for all the Republicans. There will also need to be a GOP runoff.

Michigan hasn’t sent an R to the Senate in decades, is the year when Trump killed the auto industry, started a war and sent gas and food prices soaring really going to change that pattern?

Do you think Midwest accents are off putting to Michiganders? By whiny do you mean she’s a woman?

Looks like there's some fired up and ready to go Democrats down in Georgia.

Sen. Cornyn, Sen. Tillis, and Senator Cassidy all sacrificed their principles to please Mr. Trump only to discover that Trump didn’t care.

And now we'll see if Dems can muster enough enough votes to flip those seats.

The polls call it a dead heat.

There isn’t even a primary until August. If you are putting so much stock in the “polls” when the candidates haven’t been determined yet, you’re not paying attention to the right things.

Wow. This seems significant.

Trump going all in with Ken Paxton, who is a repulsive man, will probably cost Republicans the Texas seat. Talarico is a very good candidate and Republicans would have been better off going with Conryn.

But Democrats messed up in Maine, which should have been a fairly easy pick up against old lady so concerned Susan Collins.

Candidates matter. Texas has a good one and it makes the state viable. I have no idea what Democrats in Maine are doing.

Did the GOP Senate relocate their spines and sense of morality finally? I doubt it until I see them actually put the brakes on Trump and his craziness (his January 6 billion dollar compensation fund would be a start).

Probably just some Senators belatedly realizing they're lemmings who have been following Trump off a cliff.
