The conservatives I know are college educated, not in denial about climate change, work hard, pay taxes, go to church/synagogue/mosque, and often are small business owners. They want tighter controls at our borders, a strong military, lowered inflation, better public education with a focus on academics and vocational training, and violent criminals and repeat criminals kept in prison (or hospitalized longterm for mental health issues).

The conservatives I know are college educated, not in denial about climate change, work hard, pay taxes, go to church/synagogue/mosque, and often are small business owners. Meant to add they typically read the Wall Street Journal, AJC, and NYTimes. They are not glued to Fox News but don't trust most TV news sources.

I am so damned tired of the shrill fringes of both parties hogging all the air in the room. It’s impossible to be a moderate anymore. I want a push toward a reasonable and sustainable center. Can’t we all just get along and realize we’re in this together?
