you are so clueless i doubt you know what these people do. if you want to be taken seriously, give us titles of positions you want to cut with a description of exactly what they do and either who will do that instead or why it doesn't need to be done. |
Lots and lots of directors and executive directors. And almost a whole slide of DEI folks. |
You didn't answer the question probably because you don't know what you don't know. If you want to be taken seriously, give us titles of positions you want to cut with a description of exactly what they do and either who will do that instead or why it doesn't need to be done. |
| Arlington spends too much on feel good performative stuff and that's why I vote no on all bond issues. |
+1 PP is full of sht. |
yeah. It's possible there are positions that could be cut. But there is also a lot of important work being done in central office that people outside don't know about. So I can't take anyone seriously with vague claims that "Syphax doesn't do anything," and "we need to cut the bloat in Syphax." Back it up. Or STFU and let the grownups do their jobs. |
| Get rid of ALL THE DEI positions. In APS most of those staff members do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I honestly wish they would do something but they don’t. The DEI coordinator at DHMS has been out since the start of the school year. And yet there has been no difference in the school climate or culture or programming. It’s sad that we waste money on positions like this. If the APS director of DEI had a vision or gave any guidance on how the program should run, I would be all for it. But he doesn’t so the DEI coordinators can do absolutely nothing if they want. |
| Thank you for naming specific positions. This is interesting because I am also skeptical of so many DEI positions. But I have also heard from many teachers in schools that the DEI trainings are really good. |
I am shocked you’ve heard that. They are crap |
How about AETV? 4 FTEs on the last slide. Also, the Advanced Academic Coaches aren’t doing much since they don’t actually deliver any lessons or services anymore. |
They do deliver services — just not in the way that you (and many others) would like. |
