She’s not a child. It creeps me out how many of you are inclined to infantilize her.

It creeps me out how you're encouraging bullying behavior. Be better (or Be best, if Melania is more your style).

No no no. Disagreeing is not bullying. You can criticize someone without it being bullying. More weaponizing of words. Not everyone is fragile. And the press events are part of the contract. If she didn't want the reporters "getting in her head," she could do what others do, as has been stated. Just repeat--"I'm here b/c I'm contractually obligated to be."

Yes. She can stop playing tennis, and signing those contracts. However, she is being called out for cherry picking. Can do this event, but turns around to do three more of her choosing. Yes Houston we have a problem!

Saying someone doesn't have mental health issues when they say they have them is absolutely bullying. You are not a medical professional and have no knowledge of her health. Being supportive of someone means being open to the fact that their experience may look different from what you with your narrow mind might expect.

Sorry but no. She’s an incredibly successful and powerful woman. If she can’t handle a little criticism, she needs to step away from the stage.

Weird you think that is cherry picking … most balanced people don’t do every event offered to them.

No she doesn’t. She can do what serves her and turn down what does not serve her. Also she can call out bullying when she wants too.

+1. And we can defend people, even powerful celebrities, from idiots saying they know more about the medical issues of a person than the person themselves. Because mental health issues ARE medical issues.

+1. Most tennis players pick and choose what events they show up for on n the tour. Standard Operating Procedure. And a top player like Naomi absolutely can and do “cherry pick” events.

She can pick which events she wants to play. But if she chooses an event where players are contractually obligated to be interviewed, then she should not get a special exception. It should be an even playing field for everyone.

She called out Martina Navratilova the other day. And Dr. Fauci today. Hope that helps.

But we know it’s not. Top players are treated differently in every sport, not just Tennis. Naomi is young and she is changing the game.

Please people we all know if this was a white guy he would be heralded as brave and no one would criticize him.

It’s hilarious to me when she’s trying to call out Naomi when no one is a bigger flop than her. Megyn had her show for what a day?
