Makes me think of George Carlin:
"And what happened in this country that now suddenly everyone is walking around with their own personal bottle of water? when did we get so thirsty in America? is everybody so dehydrated they have to have their own portable supply of fluids with them at all times? get a drink before you leave the house. " |
If it was clean and possible too. Sure. Yes. I’d also ask other parents if they had anything disposable or a cup if I didn’t. We live in a community. |
No. Not if it’s used. Yes if we have spares that are unused. |
I’m responding to the eff the kids complaints, they’ll live smoke em up Johnny responses here. Most are posting as if they’d simple pretend not to hear this kid...because they’ll live. Toughen up. |
I would never ignore the child. I would say, no I don't have water or you may not have my water. |
It's the same as the snack culture here. Snacks and water for 1 hour at the playground. It's a little insane. |
But you'd be ok potentially passing covid to a child? Wow. |
+1 |
You are very simple minded. No one is giving a rando kid a half drank bottle. But if they have a spare, many would. Are you a troll or just unable to understand basic human interactions? Is nuance difficult for you? The person said nothing about sharing a bottle that’s in use. Shaking my head. |
You didn’t have anything to share. That’s difficult. I’d feel poorly about it. But we can’t share personal cups even in normal times. I do occasionally have extras , but tend to pack light when on foot. |
Yeah, but do you see how your sheer laziness adversely affects your child? |
Maybe if OP shared her used bottle the mom would notice - but I bet not. |
WTF are you babbling about? |
And God forbid a child be briefly "adversely affect[ed]"
|
Oh no! They are briefly thirsty! |
