Do you use washcloth. I am surprised that many people have no idea what it even is.

To the PP curious about the burgundy washcloths, you MUST read that thread! It's a DCUM classic.

Nope. The hand towel is the second smallest in the photo

Only my grandparents use wash cloths. I figured it was a generational thing. We don’t use them. Don’t see the point. Hands are fine.

I love those erase your face cloths. But no washcloth for my body. I love soap

+1. Washcloths were used back in the day as people bathed so rarely they needed to scrub off the funk.

I own a dozen washcloths as I bought them for burpcloths for the babies. Don't use them otherwise. Would never hit up my taint with one-gross!

Hands are the best tools, OP.

And DCUM has had this conversation multiple times, so please pick another subject.

Yes, please. Also, learn to spell. "TINY", not "TINNY". "OTHER THAN", not "OTHER THEN".

OP is likely not a native English speaker, so lay off maybe.

So why do you think non-native speakers of English don't deserve to know how to use correct English? If nobody tells them how will they learn? I'd hate to be in another country using their language incorrectly and appearing to be an idiot when all it would take to improve is people willing to help me.

I really wasn’t going to post on this thread, but this many pages in and no one has commented on the fact that this is totally INCORRECT? Come on, DCUM, don’t make me do your dirty work.

A hand towel is for drying hands. It is not a washcloth.

Washcloths are not towels. When you get down to that size, it is called a washcloth.

Correct. The picture has a regular-sized towel, a hand towel, and a washcloth.

The smallest "towel" is a hand towel, not a washcloth. I do use my hand towel for things other than cleaning house -- namely, for drying my hands.

You would put the wash cloth in the laundry, wrung out, after one use and then wash it in the laundry with your towels. You do wash your towels, right?
So your putting a wet cloth in a pile of laundry to just get moldy. Gross. Hang it up until it dries and then put it in the laundry pile.

I have kids and do laundry every day. If a cloth became moldy somehow, I'd toss it. I also only use towels once -gasp!!

Nah, still gross you are putting wet towels in a laundry pile. It’s always obvious who people are that do this. Their towels always smell like mildew.

We use fresh wash cloths for face cleaning every morning and evening. After you use it, you wring it out and it sits on the edge of the sink to dry more. The next morning when it is almost completely dry it gets tossed into the “washcloth hamper” which is a small mostly open mesh hamper so that it continues to dry. This prevents damp washcloths from being in regular hamper. And the kids can bring down just towel laundry.

But we also have a workout clothes hamper in the laundry room because those are gross and sweaty.

In the shower? No, it is gross and disgusting. DH will use it if he worked on cars, but that's it.
Nasty little wash clothes in the shower, makes me want to throw up. How dirty are you exactly, op? Most of us shower twice per day and wash hair daily. How gross are you?
