Liberals reach out and get help. There are two ways to interpret those studies OP, and I doubt you are a liberal because you can't think of both ways. Anyhow, I can see being married to a Republican, but if they turned into a Trump supporter, that is a real issue. |
What specific policy or policies of Trump's swayed your vote (that actually became law)? |
Says who? You? So you get to decide someone else's race? Kamala has a black parent and says she is black, so she is. You can froth at the mouth but she is black. Seethe. |
No many people with a moral center refuse to tolerate/live with/sexually touch someone who is able to tolerate a racist sexist bigot. |
LOL, I see you. To the OP, no great advice. People can and do initiate divorce for a myriad of reasons and you can’t keep someone that doesn’t want to stay. All you can do is prepare mentally and financially for the divorce and make sure you have a good lawyer. If this is all bluster, and the question becomes do you want to now divorce him after his bluster of divorcing you, that’s a different conversation. Only you can make the decision of what’s worth it to you in the marriage and have to live with the consequences of your decision whatever you decide. |
+1. Reminds me of the people who said Obama was “only” half-black. |
+1 except we're the other way. I was a moderate R, left the party years ago. DH is a liberal. This was not about R vs D. This was flat out about morals and integrity, and the kind of person who supports someone like Trump knowing that he was more than just a flawed character. McCain was a "flawed" character but DH never questioned his integrity or character, ever, so when I was full on planning to vote for McCain, DH did not get upset. When DH votes straight D ticket, it doesn't bother me one bit. My vote sometimes cancels his out, and we laugh about it. Trump OTH, nope. I don't think either of us could respect the other if the other supported Trump. And once you lose respect for your spouse, your marriage is doomed for failure. |
LOL that's comedy at its finest. Trump's entire being is corrupt. And the quip about Kamala not being "black" just goes to show just how cookoo you are and can't be taken seriously. -signed an Independent |

This is the third such post that I have read tonight on this thread.
Man, the world has truly gone crazy. |

Interesting article by BBC on how Trump puts down women. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-50563106
(I am sure his shame on his mom being a cleaning lady and being bullied by his dad had a part to play in how he treated women but still ... https://www.thenational.scot/news/14903147.an-inconvenient-truth-donald-trumps-scottish-mother-was-a-low-earning-migrant/ ) But in the end the result was this - |
CNN, MSNBC, and Fox are all hella partisan and therefore annoying, but Fox is like getting your news from the National Enquirer. Sometimes, they break the big story, but usually its trash. Currently, they're pushing the narrative that something nefarious occurred and bringing enablers on to corroborate that narrative. I sometimes watch for comedic relief. |
Oh my God, you have successfully embodied every ridiculous Right Wing stereotype in one post! Bravo. Excellent sarcasm. Trump doesn't even have "policy." They didn't even bother to put together a 2020 platform. Their platform was "I'm With Stupid.: You should do some actual research about this idiotic "HURR DURR I THOT LIBRULS WERE SPOSED TO BE TOLERANT" fallacy and why some things in a decent society cannot and will not be "tolerated." |
I certainly hope you practice medicine with more objectivity and less generalization. It’s a very bold and frankly unprofessional statement that nearly half of our country has a personality disorder just because you differ in political opinion. Do you hear how ridiculous that sounds? |
I don’t hear that at all. This is more than a difference of opinion, it is in fact about morality. I have said this before but two of the cardinal features of narcissism are entitlement and lack of empathy. To support Trump is not just saying, “I don’t want my taxes increased”. This man separated children from their parents and there are at least 400 of these children who are yet to be reunified with their parents, he took a full page add out in the NYT declaring five minority youth were guilty of rape and refused to apologize even though they were proven innocent. I could go on. To support a man like this you have to lack empathy. So no I don’t believe I sound ridiculous at all. |
