Better than that I think. The problem is the league system. The "top" clubs deliberately keep strong rivals like Vienna out so they don't get exposed. I'm pretty sure Vienna would be a contender in ECNL at most age groups if only they were allowed to compete.

VDA 2008 beat Vienna 2008 3-1. VDA 2007 lost 3-1, but it was to Vienna 2006. I don’t think that makes Vienna the top team at either age group.

2007/2008 did play Vienna in scrimmages.

Everyone at vda knew this was going to happen as there bad teams aged out and the good PWSI/vsa teams combined in the younger ages. This is no shock to anyone. Hopefully they don’t screw it up.

Why would they scrimmage Vienna? Hopefully they won...

Maybe because there is a pandemic and no one wants to travel very far? We should play all the decent local teams if we can.

The 08s won 3-1 and the 07s lost to Vienna 06s. Good experience and competition and the girls had fun. That’s what matters.
