Not impressed with CT beaches

Summer is about a bucket of Tharashers, bucket of Rolling Rocks and all you can eat fried shrimps. Life's good...git some.

Sweet! More for me. You probably don't like hush puppies either!

:hurl:

The real question is can you get cold cuts at CT beaches? On DCUM, that's the benchmark of a good beach- the quality of salami, mortadella and provolone. It's ruined many a Yankee's vacation to OBX.

You are positively obsessed. Deli meat (as midwesterners call it) is for lunch, that was established about 10 threads about the same topic ago. But continue showing your hate and ignorance, by all means. There is still no edible food at your choice of destination - but that is not what this thread is about, is it? Why must everything be about you? Did mommy not love you?

I would suggest you get out more, instead of trolling.

I wasn't the one that brought up the lack of provisions on OBX. it was another poster. I just think it's funny that somebodys vacation was ruined by a lack of cured meats and subpar hoagies.

First world problems.[/quote]

+1

First world problems, but also the problem of a poster from other threads, as everything seems to be about them, in their world. Talk about insane.

Fixating on this topic, in general, just seems odd to me. The original discussion PP eludes to was about OBX having sucky food - not so in the NE. You should probably let it go if you haven't been to the place you are trying to criticize. PP is not very good at spin. LOL.

I have to assume the post was snark? Just in case anyone is wondering-you probably don't want to spend a few days in Bridgeport. Or even a few minutes.

To YOU. I grew up going "down the shore" If you don't like it than please stay away. I have many fond memories of spending time there!

Please don't convince people to come to NJ. I'm enjoying LBI far too much.

NJ beaches are the best, and anyone who says otherwise has not been. Does that make me CNJB (Crazy New Jersey Byotch) - because OBX be nasty.

What NJ beaches and OBX beaches are you talking about? OBX is 200 miles long. Nags Head is much different than Frisco and/or Hatteras Village. It's kind of similar to New Jersey. If one person's only exposure to NJ beaches is Atlantic City, Wildwood and/or Seaside Heights, they may not think too highly of NJ and its beaches.

Maybe. But a terrible day in Jersey is still eons better than the best OBX day.

I once watched Jersey Shore, i yhink that's i will stick to Hatteras and Cape Cod.

The Jersey shore that I have seen is nothing like the show, at all. There is a sucker born every minute.

Jersey has some quaint, pretty beaches in small coastal towns - and no Rebel Flags, like NC.

I detect hate toward not one, not tow, but THREE groups here - a banner day for you! Look in the mirror and tell us who else you hate, then call other people "crazy" for pointing it out. Wow. Just wow.

OP, you really are a sad, immature, predictable and pathetic individual.

Yesterday all the state parks were at capacity by noon!

Glad they are keeping the parks from overflowing.

OP's threads make DCUM look bad. Same trolling over ad over, and Jeff falls for it.

Agree. Generalizations go both ways. Jersey Shore isn't completely like you see on MTV. OBX isn't all racists waving confederate flags.

Me too! Do you remember Hay Day before it became Balduccis? Loved going there before the beach.

I’ve seen a lot of beaches and I think they’re all so beautiful in their own way. Heading to the Oregon coast next weekend and can’t wait to take a dip in the frigid water.

Agree. Unfortunately on DCUM, beach discussions usually turn into "my beach is the best and yours sucks," kind of discussions.
