+1 I am continuously amazed at how clueless people here are about the world outside of the blue bubbles. You do realize that their are tons of Latinos in red states. |
| Are these the same people who boycotted Starbucks and Keurig? I can’t keep up with it all. |
Every company that makes toilet tissue needs to support Trump and every company that makes sand paper needs to protest Trump. And we need a lot of popcorn and a story from you about your values. |
I can't keep either. Last I remember, conservatives boycotted Starbucks for using red cups. |
| Trump has made himself so toxic that sucking up to him is going to have blow back even on those companies, like Goya, who have been very generous. |
Many are illegal immigrants who work on farms; some probably work in restaurants, cleaning the table for you, cooking your food. From what I understand, Trump and Trumpsters want them to leave. I wonder if Trumpsters leave tips, or write on the checks "go back to you where you came from". |
PP, please try to keep up. If you'd read the entire discussion instead of just jumping in with your oh-so-helpful comment, you'd know that this chef explains that the canned beans should be rinsed thoroughly. And that that removes 80 percent of the sodium. I learned something; perhaps you could too. |
You'd be surprised. I leave generous tips if the service is decent. (It usually is.) I have a couple of Dem friends that I go to lunch with from time to time. (I go with them separately, they do not know each other.) Both are in similar financial circumstances as I am. Both stick to 15%. One of them even has a little card that helps her figure out the 15%. I go for at least 20% --never less. |
Ha. Watch the stock price soar. And watch for Goya products to be sold out, everywhere. |
+1. I've noticed the same thing. In my view, it's because most of my D friends are "Karens" who expect everything to be just so in their little world, and like to control everything, including how much income other people get. My R friends are much more go-with-the-flow. "Hey she worked hard tonight, let's help her out." |

Well, Goya just got a ton of free advertising.
So let’s get this straight, rich Lin Manuel Miranda wants to drive out of business a company that provides lots of jobs and access to nutritious low cost food to working class POC because his political views differs from the other half of the country? |
And my Republican family leaves a dollar per person so the table no matter what they order. It's almost like anecdotes are meaningless. |
there is already talk of him being removed.

| I really don’t give 2 shts about the personal views of a CEO. |
