Obviously if the nanny get a a coffee on the way to work, that would be her expense, but to worry about what she gets while out with the kids is just gauche and petty.
I don't think any nanny should expect her Starbucks habit to be covered by the employer. Kids don't need trips to Starbucks at that age. Even for a 10-year old it's a treat not a regular occurrence.
