Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS)
No, it won’t. MCPS is all about “innovating.” If you want a classical education, you need to go private. It is maddening, I agree. |
The county OIG has the ability and authority to oversee MCPS since 2020. The county council approved two positions specifically for OIG educational unit. Also, MCPS has already released its financial report which included an independent audit. https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/siteassets/district/departments/financialservices/fy2023acfr.pdf https://mcpsmd.new.swagit.com/videos/281114 |
Bravo! Great explanation! |
Nice try. A county IG does not have the same weight as an MCPS IG would. You are dealing with inside info in most cases of corruption - this is common in billion dollar entities except for this county. Why? |

MCPS has a cultural problem. I could go on but I won’t |

I hope everybody realizes that this thread was resurrected from four-plus years ago by a troll claiming to be a teacher on page 5 (whether they are a teacher or not, bringing up such dated material is troll-ish).
Probably someone who has an agenda. Probably someone who's now replying to posts of folks who didn't realize how old the thread was. Probably someone who wanted to post about the 2018 corruption issue again. The issue of the Eureka curriculum has been discussed dozens of times since, and would be better served by a new thread, if needed, to eliminate now-irrelevant info. Time to lock this one up, Jeff. |
