I lived in Baltimore for 6 years and was robbed zero times. There, now we have two anecdotes.

Also, I haven't noticed anybody objecting to the tweets on grounds that Baltimore is a problem-free utopia.

I lived in Baltimore for 10 years in Charles Village and my house was never broken into. I worked at Hopkins Hospital in a bad neighborhood and wasn't robbed there. I did have my car broken into once and also was teed by someone running a red light.

My good friend has lived in DC for just over 15 years. He's had his car broken into three times. One of those times, the car was stolen and recovered about 2 weeks later trashed. And his house has been broken into.

Now we have three anecdotes. DC isn't looking so superior from anecdotal evidence.

I should have been more careful with my words. I was violently robbed in Baltimore twice.....once at gun point the other with a knife to my back. Both times I was walking from JHU at night. I knew the area but not well enough and got turned around. In fact, the cop literally asked me how I ended up on this street if I was coming from JHU.

I still go there once a month and it's been years since those incidents. I should have noted that this absolutely can happen to me in DC. My car has also been broken into and vandalized in DC. But, DC has really changed. We had leaders that really made a difference. It's not perfect, but it's so much better. Baltimore is where DC was in the 80's. It's a beautiful city and the people deserve effective leaders.

He needs to stand up for the kids who live in Baltimore. Those kids were born into intergenerational poverty and now this POTUS is pissing on them.

What about the Democratic mayors of Baltimore over the last 50 years? Or the Democratic governors or the Democratic dominated state assembly or the Democratic dominated congressional slate from Maryland?

Like most people upset at Trump, you care more about Trump than you do about the kids in Baltimore.

Agreed. I think it is funny that people in Maryland can actually defend Baltimore. Have you been there? Anywhere outside the Inner Harbor? He is absolutely right that decades of one-party rule and tons of cash have effected little change. He is not the first to raise the issue.
